Advisory

Advisory

Four ways in. Fixed scope on all of them, and none of them ends in an implementation invoice.

1. Fractional Chief AI Officer

A seat at your table a few days a month, for a defined period – typically six to nine months.

  • Presence in the meetings where AI decisions actually get made, not in a parallel workshop track.
  • A monthly memo of two to three pages: what moved, what is stuck, what you decide next.
  • A direct line to the CEO between sessions.
  • A stop mandate – the standing authority to recommend killing an initiative, used in front of the people who approved it.

Format: four to six days a month, minimum six months, fixed monthly fee, mandate with an exit date. What you get is not a roadmap. It is a decision record: what was decided, by whom, against which number, and what would make you reverse it.

2. AI Decision Review

The smallest useful engagement, and the one most companies should start with. One session with your executive team, one page in return:

  • where you are today, in language your board will accept;
  • the three decisions in front of you in the next ninety days;
  • one thing I recommend you stop.

Format: a three-hour session with the team, the page in five working days, fixed fee agreed before we start. No proposal attached, no step two prepared. If you want the three decisions accompanied afterwards, you ask.

3. AI Maturity Diagnostic

A defensible position on a twelve-grade scale, across six dimensions, run individually or across the whole executive team in blind mode – where the disagreement between them is the finding. See the method.

4. AI Due Diligence

For funds and acquirers: a three to five day red-flag screen before the letter of intent, or full diligence on the AI estate. See the three levels.

What I do not do

  • Implementation, development, staffing or managed services.
  • License, platform or tool resale, of any kind, including referral fees.
  • Legal AI Act compliance documentation – I work alongside legal partners and stay on the governance and decision side of that line.
  • Subcontracting for consulting firms.

None of this is modesty. It is what keeps the second opinion worth having: there is nothing I can sell you afterwards that depends on the answer.

Fees

Every engagement is quoted as a fixed fee on a one-page scope, agreed before anything starts. No hourly billing, no change orders, no discovery phase you pay for. Ranges on request – they depend on the size of the executive team and how much of the estate is in scope, not on how long I take.

Languages and geography

Romanian and English. Based in Bucharest, working across Romania, Central and Eastern Europe and the Nordics. Remote by default, on site when the decision deserves a room.
